AES is providing Architect/Engineering services to develop and prepare construction documents to renovate the existing VAHCS imaging suite in El Paso, TX.

The scope of work for this project is limited to interior areas only.  These areas include renovation to rooms:

• D268:  Provide wall oxygen/suction on the east wall.  Replace existing 36” door with 48” door.
• D269C:  Add a new wall dividing the room in half and add a new door.
• D269:  Open the room by removing walls, add a new sink, add a new door on west wall and add wall oxygen/suction on the south wall.
• D270:  Divide one large room into an exam room with 2 changing rooms.
• D271, D272: Demo the wall between the rooms to make D272 bigger, wall oxygen/suction on the west wall.  Remove doors at the north side in both rooms and infill the openings.
• B329:  To be determined to accommodate lab printer.
• MRI scan:  Provide electrical feed (480V, 3-phase) and oxygen line.
• C2-60:  New wall and door creating room D271.
• Corridor C2-62: Provide two (2) changing rooms, metal detector at door.
• Rooms B308, B310: Convert to one room.
• Rooms B330, B332: Convert to three (3) exam rooms.

No interior finishes will be included in room D272, as this will be completed as part of the MRI site preparation project. Construction shall be phased such that the suite will remain operational. AES will also provide construction period services for this project which will include review of shop drawings and responses to RFIs and necessary site visits for inspections.
