AES provides engineering services, on-site representation and project management of all activities throughout the project. This includes all submittals, scheduling, and subcontractor management. Work is performed in conjunction with the manufacturer’s representatives and according to specifications.

01 Repair/Replace Roofs at Bldgs 2B and 1912 - $718,944
Repair Marine Corps Reserve Centers (MCRC facilities) at Great Lakes, IL. The work consists of demolition of the existing roof to the concrete deck and replacement with a new built up roof approximately 31,824 SF (2B) with tapered R30 insulation, polyester base sheet, asphalt flood coat and roof pea gravel, as well as repairs to the parapet wall of approximately 200 SF, as well as demolition and replacement of the 776 SF roof (B1912).
02 Repair/Replace Roof Bldg 616 - $952,090
Includes removal of the existing built-up roofing system, wood blocking, flashing, counter flashing, and insulation completely down to the concrete deck. Demolition and removal of the existing felt/base flashing. Prepare surface to receive new roof. Install new 4-ply built-up (BUR) system with polyester base sheet and asphalt flood coat with roof pea gravel surfacing with an average tapered R30 insulation. ½” per foot slope to achieve positive drainage where there is no structure slope with no water ponding with tapered insulation. Provide new vent flashing, new mechanical curb flashing, and new expansion join. Provide new .050 prefinished anodized bronze aluminum perimeter wall flashing, and incidental related work.

Roof 3 – 3,111 SF – Penthouse #2
Roof 4 – 824 SF – Penthouse #3
03 Repair Roof Building 1405 - $10,159
Remove existing caulking material at vacated thru wall counter flashing and around rope weeps located above primary metal roofing flashings. Re-seal brick to metal joint. Remove 3 lines of caulk on counter flashing, approximately 161 linear feet. Install new single bead of Sealant on counter flashing. Remove trapped water behind modified bitumen wall flashing along expansion joint tube. Prime and 5 course area with 4" & 6" burmesh and Polyroof Lv. Install double duty aluminum over entire repair area.) Install new roof drain where water pools on south end of roof along wall and exhaust fans and tie into existing drains. Install new tapered insulation. Install lead and plys. Seal sump with mastics and BUR mesh. rod existing roof drain and fix roof drain cover and incidental related work. Tuck point both brick walls on this roof area 2415 SF.
04 Repair/Replace Roof Bldg 1410 at NAS JRB Ft. Worth, TX - $773,984
Complete re-roofing of all roofing layers down to the structural deck, metal and membrane roof flashings, counter flashing, drips, gravel stops, gutters, downspouts and all other roof accessories in the replacement area. Provide replacement of approximately 4,500 SF of water-damaged cement gypsum decking and roof insulation consistent with the thickness of the existing adjacent roof system. Square feet is 8,550. Work also includes eliminating sheet flow from vertical surfaces by re-designing and installing new roof-edge conditions as follows. Provide new gutters and downspouts where indicated on the roof plan and provide a new gravel stop with enlarged vertical leg along the barrel roof edge. Remove existing roof edge components and any portion of roof, sublayers and roofing components to completely integrate the new roof edge into the water-tight roof system.
