Project Features:

• VA Medical Center health care complex is on the National Register of Historic Places and is participating in the VA Historic Preservation Program.
• Provide full architectural and engineering services to install an elevator which will connect the basement, first and second levels. The facility will remain in use during construction.
• Install a new three-stop elevator for Domiciliary Building 4 to allow for handicapped access. Access to the top two floors is through ramps that do not comply with handicapped accessibility standards.
• Design services include all structural, electrical, architectural and engineering services as required for complete design.
• Preservation of the existing sandstone construction required.
